As far as I am cncerned if it says 3rd cat then any 3rd cat can ride vet or not, but if you are a 2nd cat vet then you ride as per your category irrespective of age unless the race says specifically to the contrary

if you are a 3rd cat vet you can ride .so thats you out .
to be honest stuart there has been very few if not no 3/4 races this year its either 4 only or e,1,2,3 apart from i think dundee 2 day so far 2,3,4 .and a few apr,s witch lets face it there are always a few ringers in the first few groups. and i for one am a bit pissed off at going to races and hanging on as aposed to taking part.
so its just to give the normal people a wee chance at glory even if it is just fish and chip glory

I bet that will be a great race!
One of the sponsors is a quality cake shop - so it's worth entering just for the cakes alone!

Transvestism, cakes, horrendous climbs, the abilty to get p***ed the night after. What more do you need in a race?

Will probably be the best race of the season mark my words!

What more do you need in a race?

Seeing the whole field competing in drag would be pretty special

I can't get the route link to open properly.

Is this the same route as last year's Ross McDonald memorial which goes out along the A71 and finishes along the Muirkirk to Strathaven road by Dungavel??

tough course, was there any flat on it!?

thanks to all concerned, especially the lads in the sag wagon who must have thought they'd missed all the cakes waiting for me to finish.
