To the best of my knowledge this is all but correct but it is possible that some of the DNFs were in the big bunch finish but I did try to recheck the numbers after they crossed the line. Sorry its now the 22nd but had to go for my second Indian meal in 2 days ( mothers day not toyboys day ). Took a wee bit of time to check and type out as I only do 1 finger typing. Good to have the problem of a lot of finishers .
Its simple. Organisers have the choice of which category of event they want to run. If BC see E-4 cats it automatically goes in as a Reg C or (and only if organisers tell them) C + with points to first 10. Reg A (30-1)and B (15-1) hold different points as do Nat A (100-2)and B (60-1). Including 4th cats means less points if all cats ride as they are supposed to be 'training' races, and if the distance is short BC will cut the points. That's why English riders can get loads of points for riding crits and so called fish n chippers.
